5–Round, Swiss-System Tournament, 30 moves in 90 minutes, Sudden Death in 60 minutes (per player). Open to players rated under 1600 or unrated.

Rounds: 7 p.m. each Monday for 5 weeks

USCF membership is required to participate (in any rated tournament). You may join the USCF or renew your USCF membership at the time of registration for the tournament.

Entry Fee: Marshall Chess Club Members $20, otherwise $40

Prizes: $300*

1^st - $120 2^nd - $70 3^rd - $50

Top scorer rated Under 1300 - $60

(Unrated Players eligible for Place Prizes only)

*(All prizes proportionately based on 20 entries)

Registration: 6:15–6:45 p.m. Limit two half-point byes, request by Round 3. You may start the tournament in Rounds 2 or 3 with half-point byes for the previous rounds.
