“ The Art of Artfulness “ Marshall Chess Club founding member Marcel Duchamp famously stated that “Not every artist is a chess player, but every chess player is an artist.” FIDE Master Ronald Young will in this lecture present and analyze games which demonstrate the concept of chess as an art form. FM Young has been a fixture on the American Chess scene for decades. He is the winner of many prestigious tournaments, including the 1987 Manhattan Chess Club Championship and the 1991 New England Blitz Championship.
