The mission of the Marshall Chess Club Oral History Project is to preserve for posterity the memories and experiences of our club members, staff, and board of governors. To chronicle the history and legacy of the club through the decades as witnessed by its members. As an organization that remains true to its origins as a social club, the Marshall Chess Club seeks to continue promoting chess nationally and internationally through the stories, anecdotes, and legends shared by our members.
